Dr. Jennifer E Sodetz brings a unique blend of artistic and veterinary expertise to her practice. After earning her BA and MA from New York University, she pursued her passion for animal care by obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Midwestern University. With five years of experience, Dr. Sodetz is certified in Fear Free Practice and Veterinary Acupuncture, focusing on acupuncture, geriatric medicine, behavior, and access to care.
Dr. Sodetz is a dedicated mentor for Midwestern University's VetCORE group, providing essential veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness. She frequently volunteers with veterinary outreach groups on the Navajo Nation and offered mobile veterinary services during the pandemic to support vulnerable communities.
Before her veterinary career, Dr. Sodetz worked in museum administration at The Getty Museum in Los Angeles. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her deaf Sheltie, Finian, and Chihuahua-doodle, Biscuit. Her interests also include yoga, travel, and hiking.
